Jewellery Shoot

This began with a request from my friends jewellery company and ended with a fun shoot and great photos. To me it didn’t matter if they were used for what they were intended because I loved the creative freedom and process of this. I got the opportunity to create a kind of lookbook with all the jewellery they sold on their website.

It was an incredible collaboration as we were used to shooting together. The process went super smooth and everyone involved brought an important part to the table.

We chose a more industrial looking location as we felt like it was fitting for the the vibe they wanted to create. The outfits we kept intentionally simple as we wanted the focus on the jewellery.

With my choices for the editing, I wanted to create two different vibes. The black and while for a darker, harsher look as the silver of the jewellery still shines through perfectly. On the other hand I decided to do some of them in color to make them look a bit more casual. The posing of the model Lenny Ammann fits perfectly in my opinion and it creates an interesting vibe, matching the editing. Especially with a shoot this simple it was very important to choose the right poses to accentuate the purpose of the shoot: to present and sell the jewellery.
